This 2 Days Tanzania Safari offers an excellent wildlife experience in a short time. Perfect for travelers with limited days, this tour takes you to either Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara on the first day, followed by a full-day game drive inside the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. Expect to see elephants, lions, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, giraffes, and possibly the endangered black rhino.
Arusha, Manyara and Tarangire National Park Tour Itinerary
After breakfast, depart Arusha for either Tarangire National Park (famous for elephants) or Lake Manyara (known for tree-climbing lions). Enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch. Overnight at a lodge or tented camp in Karatu.
Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a thrilling full-day safari. Witness abundant wildlife in the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Afternoon drive back to Arusha for drop-off.

- Changes to Itinerary
- While every effort is made to follow the planned itinerary, Roots of Africa Kilimanjaro Expedition reserves the right to make changes due to:
- Weather conditions
- Safety concerns
- National park regulations
- Unforeseen circumstances
- Any changes will be made with the safety and comfort of clients as the top priority.
- Travel Insurance
- All clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers:
- Trip cancellation
- Medical expenses
- Emergency evacuation
- High altitude trekking such as climbing Mount Kilimanjaro
- Health and Fitness
- Clients participating in mountain trekking must be in good physical condition. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure they are medically fit for activities such as climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.
- Responsibility and Liability
- Roots of Africa Kilimanjaro Expedition acts only as a tour operator and shall not be held responsible for: ∙ Personal injury or illness
- Loss or damage of personal belongings
- Delays caused by weather, road conditions, or airline schedules
- Any events beyond our control
- Client Conduct
- Clients are expected to respect local cultures, wildlife, and environmental regulations while visiting national parks and communities in Tanzania.
- Passport, Visa, and Travel Documents
- All travelers must have valid travel documents including passports and visas required for entry into Tanzania. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure these documents are valid before travel.
- Acceptance of Terms
- By booking a tour with Roots of Africa Kilimanjaro Expedition, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- If a client cancels their trip, the following cancellation fees may apply:
- More than 30 days before the trip – deposit refundable (minus bank charges)
- 15–30 days before the trip – 50% cancellation fee
- Less than 15 days before the trip – 100% cancellation fee
